After days of heavy rainfall, the sun finally shone just in time to welcome the world’s most glamorous ladies to the red carpet. This year’s winners were the ever-beautiful Cate Blanchett who picked up a ‘Best Actress’ Oscar for her role in Blue Jasmine, plus she looked remarkably mesmerizing in a nude Armani Prive embellished pearl and sequin gown teamed with a pair of large diamond pendant-style earrings.

Kenyan actor, Lupita Nyong’o won an Oscar for her film debut as ‘Best Supporting Actress’ in 12 Years a Slave. Her full pleated powder blue Prada gown glistened as she twirled and was offset by a turquoise ring, gold bangles, silver statement stud earrings and an oh-so-chic crystal headband.
